Here’s an overview of your tour

This afternoon tour takes you to almost 2000m high Biokovo mountain, stunning and protected nature park. It's highest peak - famous St. George, with it's 1762m above the sea level, is the second highest mountain peak in the whole Croatia. Drive on the highest asphalt road in the country and on the way to the top take a walk on the one of the most popular landmarks of Croatia- famous SKYWALK. This glass platform constructed over the cliffs offers a breathtaking view of the Adriatic sea and the nearby islands.

But, with an idea that experience can always be better, before we drive to the mountain, we will visit a charming coastal town of Makarska. Some local stories (a place where I spent most of my childhood) together with calmness and coziness adding to the charm of the place, will prepare you for what is coming next.

Yet, that is not all. On the way back we stop in village of Topići where in the old stone KONOBA (tavern) you have opportunity to see how PEKA (typical local ash made dish) is done, before it is served to you.

Atmosphere filled with local, traditional, tasty food and drinks should warm up your soul, while you're watching sun setting over the Adriatic sea.

While one local liquor and a glass of wine are included, dinner and other drinks are optional and payed for on spot, but highly recommended.

    You will have a guided tour around the old town after which you will have some free time

    After entering the nature park our first stop is a skywalk. After a photostop we continue to the highest point St. George

  • Village Topići

    Typical dinner at a local traditional tavern while watching how the food is prepared

  • Back to Split

    You will be dropped off at your accommodation and get more recommendations of things to do for the rest of your stay
