"If we could have requested the most knowledgeable (historical, current trends, political reasons and why it all fits to make Holland work today) guide we picked a winner in Marten. He couldn't have been more personable, knowledgeable and an extremely able communicator. We felt like old friends chatting about everything from our first handshake to our last goodbye. We never felt rushed or hurried and learned so much in such an easy and understandable way from a really nice guy. Our tour was to a small city outside of Amsterdam and we really loved the whole experience he provided. I've already recommended Withlocals to some other travelers.

Amazing Service
"I can not say enough good about Claudio!
From the very beginning of our reservation he was very helpful, replying to messages immediately and helping us feel at ease in the meeting spot/time since we were on a tight schedule.
Then our flights were changed and we had to move dates, he was not obligated to accommodate but had the new date available, so we were all set.
But Delta made our time in Amsterdam go from 9 hours to one hour so our tour was off.
Through the entire process he was great, and we plan on a longer trip to Amsterdam in the future and hope he will be available!

Beautiful Dutch Villages Tour. Volendam and Marken Day Trip
"May 6,2019... Spent 1/2 a day with Claudio with my travel partner exploring the Dutch Villages Volendam and Marken. He was very knowledgeable about the history and current affairs of Amsterdam, and presented the information in a non hurried fashion allowing for questions in between. Not only did we discuss the tour but talked of all sorts of things, it was like spending the day with a good friend. I would encourage everyone to book a tour with this good soul. Oh, and the villages are well worth a visit!"

"Anna was on time, she was actually early. She knew the history of her city and the area. She was pleasant and made our day very enjoyable. She helped us to store our luggage at the train station, which made touring much more pleasant. We would use Anna again if we return to Amsterdam."

The perfect tour
"My father and I had a wonderful time with Claudio exploring the small towns of Volendam and Marken. We were there during the off season which allowed us to experience the town without a sea of other tourist’s. It is a beautiful place that you must experience for your self. Claudio was the perfect guide. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The next time we are in Amsterdam we will definitely be booking a tour with Claudio!"

"We booked three tours with Ente, and are glad we did. He is a great guy, with a passion for Amsterdam and its history. We enjoyed learning about the traditions and architecture of the area. My primary interest for the tours was photography-oriented, but I found myself setting that aside so I could listen to Ente and learn about Amsterdam's interesting past.
