After walking through the Old Town and seeing the main sights - we will take the train to Bern.

The old town of Bern is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Legend says that Duke Berchthold of Zahringen named the city after the first animal he killed during a hunting expedition: it was a Bear!

Walking tour through old city where you will enjoy a medieval air of the city with its Renaissance fountains, narrow streets and historic towers.

    We will meet at the country's largest train station under the sculpture of the guardian angel and immediately begin to explore the city.
  • Alfred Escher Fountain

    This man had a fix-it idea: railroads. If you had to spend 4 days traveling from Zurich to Bern, where he worked in parliament, you too would make sure that by the end of the 19th century Switzerland had the best network of railways in Europe.
  • Lindenhof

    is the scene of numerous historical events. In the 4th century a Roman fort stood on Lindenhof – and in the 9th century the grandson of Charlemagne built a regal palace as place of residence on the very same site.
  • St. Peter's Church

    The clock on the tower is the largest in Europe and the dial has a diameter of 8.7 metres!
  • Bahnhofstrasse

    The shopping heart of the city of Zurich.

    - symbol of the city and Zürich's religious heart and soul.

    or Dörfli – the “little village”. One of the last places in town where you can still find real locals.
  • Cabaret Voltaire

    The Cabaret Voltaire is the birthplace of the world-famous Dada movement, which started in Zurich in 1916.
  • Parliament Building, Bern

    Parliament Building it is an outstanding symbol of politics in Switzerland.
  • Käfigturm

    Ferdinand Hodler, one of the most famous Swiss artists of the 19th century, is said to have been born in Käfigturm.
  • Clock Tower - Zytglogge

    Every hour, in front of the Clock Tower you can see groups of people who have come to admire the medieval show: mechanical figures including a parade of bears, a jester, a golden rooster and the god of time Chronos - we can't miss it !
  • Matte

    The Matte neighborhood, located right on the riverbank, has long been a center for a wide variety of businesses.
  • Untertorbrücke

    Bern has 17 bridges span the Aare river (not including railway and highway bridges)! The oldest of these, and one of the oldest bridges in Switzerland, is the Untertorbrücke was completed in 1487.
  • Bern’s Minster

    In the 15th century, Bern was the largest city state north of the Alps – it had a lot of influence and became an important political power. Soon, the people wanted an adequate church, and it’s not surprising that the city of Bern commissioned the Minster. The build began in 1421.
  • Kindlifresserbrunnen

    There are different theories as to the meaning of this fountain, the most plausible one being that the fountain was built to have an educational effect and that the monster was meant to scare little children into behaving.
