Explore the enchanting beauty of Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, enjoy a fun bike ride with a local guide to discover the fascinating Apulian coast with its small and hidden beaches and scenic landscapes.
Upon a quick bike fitting, we'll head to the train station for a 35-minute ride to our destination. Begin the adventure by cycling through the Apulian countryside, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees that characterize our land.
Our journey includes a stop in a small fishermen village to taste a typical dessert paired with a local espresso.
Traverse the archaeological park of Egnatia, where the remains of a Roman city transport us back in time.
Pedal along the Adriatic Sea, exploring its characteristic small and hidden beaches before arriving in Monopoli. Enjoy a bike ride on the historic defensive walls, through narrow alleys, and by the charming fishing port.
Continuing along the coast, we'll discover a picturesque fishing beach with a 16th-century watchtower.
After covering a few kilometers, we reach the city of Polignano a Mare, renowned for the "Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series." Here, we will capture a beautiful group photo at one of the city's most famous panoramic viewpoints. You'll also have 40 minutes of free time to relax on the city beach or explore the charming alleys of the historic center.
We conclude our experience on a sweet note, savoring a delicious artisanal ice cream.Next, We'll then head to the station for a train back to Bari.
This tour is designed to be accessible to everyone, with a total itinerary length of approximately 30 km. You don't need to be an expert cyclist; it's suitable for anyone who, like me, simply enjoys biking and has a basic level of fitness.
I provide specialized 28" trekking bikes equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano gears, along with helmets at the tour's start.
