The Markets were built on three levels to support the excavation of the Quirinale hill and to give space to the construction of the last imperial square, commissioned by the emperor Trajan. Nowhere like here in Rome you can have sensation to be in the 2nd century AD. Don't miss this opportunity, off the beaten track, full of incredible stories to listen to. But it was really a shopping center? You have to come to listen the rest of the story.
