Here’s an overview of your activity
Step out of Florence and into the Tuscan hills. Just 55 minutes outside of the city is the beautiful Mugello area. Take a scenic hike through the stunning countryside and try some of the area’s great food and wine. The first three glasses are included!
You can easily reach the meeting place by train from Firenze S.M.Novella station to Vicchio - about 55 min scenic journey through the countryside.
Join me, a Mugello local on a scenic hike through this beautiful corner of Tuscany. Visit a medieval village and check out local vineyards and olive groves. Plus there will be plenty of photo opportunities because I’ll show you the best viewpoints along the way.
Halfway through our hike, we will stop by a local agricultural estate. Go on a guided tour of the vineyard and peek inside the wine cellar to find out what makes the local wine here special. Taste some for yourself and listen to the estate owner describe the individual characteristics of each type.
We’ll also have lunch here so you can really get comfortable. We’ll enjoy some typical Tuscan food, expect to see local bread with olive oil, cold cuts, and cheese.
