Let's make some jewelry! Join me for a fun workshop, all about the art of jewelry making. Meet a local “usta“ (‘usta' means master or teacher in Turkish) and step into his private studio located in of the hidden hans of Grand Bazaar, the heart of authentic jewelry and ateliers in Istanbul.
Get to know more about his work and story. You will be learning the art of gold-smithery and jewellery making from the “usta”, a man who’s been actively devoting himself to this craft for almost 25 years.
Time to create! Enjoy a super fun workshop: choose from various materials, then design and create your own jewelry by learning different techniques. Once you are done, you will have a very special piece of jewelry that will help you remember Istanbul forever!
After the workshop, there will be more time for questions and stories over coffee. Then it's time to say goodbye!
