A key highlight of the tour is the Jewish Heritage Museum, located next to the prestigious Neve Shalom Synagogue—the only synagogue we’ll visit inside during the tour. (If arranged two weeks in advance, we may also be able to visit Ahrida Synagogue.) Other synagogues are closed to visitors. Along the way, delicious snacks that highlight the flavors of Istanbul will also be available.

On our tour, we will discover Balat and Galata, two historic Jewish quarters along the Golden Horn, where you’ll gain insight into the daily life of the Jewish community and understand why Istanbul has long been a welcoming home for them.
