Here’s an overview of your tour

Guided by Henry the Navigator, the Portuguese explorers of the 15th and 16th centuries opened the trade routes between the Far East and the Old World. This tour will transport you back to those enchanting times.

We begin at Henry's birthplace in Porto, where you will learn about the Portuguese conquest of the oceans through a fascinating visit to the house museum.

Next, we'll explore a 16th-century caravel in a picturesque fishing village. Jack Sparrow would love it, and so will you! This caravel, constructed in 2000 to commemorate the discovery of Brazil in 1500, is an exact replica of the ones that embarked on that historic journey. You will have the opportunity to explore it inside and out.

The highlight of the tour is a delightful lunch at the fisherman's village by the sea. Enjoy fresh, grilled fish caught just hours before, offering a true feast of ocean freshness.

On our return to Porto, we will travel along a breathtaking coastal road, taking in the deep blue Atlantic and pristine white sand beaches. A stop for a drink and photos is a must!
