Here’s an overview of your tour

Join me for a walk in Warsaw downtown. We will be searching for old architecture traces among modern city buildings in the part of the town totally destroyed during WWII and then rebuilt.

Right side of the Vistula river - this part of the city was almost totally destroyed during the war, so nearly all building are 'new'. There are few hidden remains of old architecture, in different conditions, bad or renewed. This is a little bit of "architecture mess", combination of post war, Soviet buildings, houses from '60 and '70 and modern skyscrapers. The fact that in this area Jewish Ghetto was established during the war, today you can still find trace of the terrifying past.

You'll see Próżna Street, very short and the only one street with buildings in Warsaw that survived from the time of Holocaust. Nowadays, it holds different cultural events, like festival 'Singer's Warsaw', dedicated to Nobel Prize winner, writer Isaac B. Singer who was born and grew up in Poland and by a miracle avoid the Holocaust.

Join me on this tour, allow me to show you the spirit of Warsaw among modern as well as old, hidden buildings or their remains in the downtown of Poland's capital.
