Dubrovnik became known as an overcrowded destination,especially in high season months - June,July and August. Want to explore it without the touristy crowds and the heat? Why not head out early in the morning so you can have the streets to yourself! Discover the Old Town while the cafes are just opening and the city is quiet. You’ll soon realize that this is the best time to experience the city.
Let’s grab a coffee from a local bar and go exploring! Stroll with me through the narrow streets and stop by interesting monuments. From the beautiful Onofrio’s Fountain to the historic Cathedral and the Dominican Monastery, I’ll make sure we see all the must-see sights.
I am a Dubrovnik local who grew up here, and I can’t wait to share my city with you. We will visit some seriously beautiful spots, by the end of this tour you’ll totally get why this city has been a popular movie destination since the 50s. Plus I will share my personal favorite eating and shopping destinations with you.
Feeling hungry? We can always grab some breakfast on our route. Try the locals’ favorite ham sandwich, or enjoy some sweet pancakes, the choice is yours.
We will end our tour by the main entrance to the city walls. If you want to go up and take in the view just let me know and I will organize skip the line tickets in advance.
