Here’s an overview of your tour
Join me for a day in beautiful Segovia; the treasure of Castilla and the former capital of Spain. It has the best Roman Aqueduct and an ancient medieval city where you can see the 3 cultures: Arabic, Christian, and Jewish which made Segovia in a wonderful location.
In this tour, we'll explore more than 2.000 years of Spanish history from the Romans, to the House of the Catholic Kings, Isabel y Fernando, where they organized the travel with Christopher Columbus to go to America. It’s like a real time travel!
Next, to that, Segovia also has one of the best and most delicious cuisines. Worldly famous is the suckling pig, and lamb roasted in a medieval stone oven among many other traditional dishes and wines that Segovia and Castilla have to offer. Sounds delicious right?
Your day trip won't be complete without a Segovian meal in one of the best traditional restaurants in town. Throughout the years of my visits to Segovia, I've become close friends with the owner and chef so you will be personally welcomed and provided with an explanation about the traditional way of cooking, the products, and the exquisite Ribera del Duero wine: one of the best wine regions of Spain.
Our meeting point will be out side the RIU hotel at Plaza de España.
Get ready to travel to Segovia from Madrid and back by comfortable bus. This way, you can sit back and relax and you enjoy the scenic views of nature around you.
