Here’s an overview of your tour

Street art, also known as graffiti, appeared in Catania in the 2000s, the buildings and the streets were transformed by the inspiration of local and foreign writers. Subversive writers gravitated around venues and neighborhoods where political and social activism became dominant. No long after, a new generation of street artists, on commission, developed in parallel. I saw these trends beginning to flourish as a university student. I have followed their evolution at first not totally conscious of what was going on and now I share this story with my tour. Catania street art and activism
