Here’s an overview of your activity

Want to uncover the true flavors of Rome? Step away from the usual tourist spots and join me at my home in Pigneto for an authentic Roman food experience!

We’ll start the adventure by visiting the lively farmers' market and local shops to handpick the freshest ingredients. As we walk through the neighborhood, I’ll share its rich history and colorful stories, immersing you in the local culture and everyday life of Romans.

Pigneto is a bustling, artistic district, just 15 minutes from the city center (Metro C, Pigneto stop). It's a charming blend of vibrant street art, cozy cafes, and traditional markets—a place where locals and creatives thrive, day and night.

Back at my cozy apartment, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and cook! I’ll guide you through preparing a traditional Roman meal, teaching you the secrets behind the city’s most beloved dishes. From perfect pasta to delectable desserts, you’ll create a meal full of Roman flavor and stories.

Menu Highlights:

Starters: A selection of Roman favorites such as porchetta, bruschette (I’ll teach you my secret recipes!), artisanal cheeses, and unique cured meats—things you’ll only find in Pigneto!

Main Course: Traditional pastas like Amatriciana, Puttanesca, and Cacio e Pepe, or hearty Roman dishes such as Saltimbocca alla Romana or Hunter’s Chicken.

Dessert: Tiramisu and other classic Italian sweets, plus fresh seasonal fruit.

Drinks: Espresso, limoncello, and a traditional digestivo to finish the meal.

Vegetarian options and custom menus for dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.) are available, and kids under 6 are free of charge!

If you're up for an adventure, I can also offer an extended tour of Pigneto, exploring the street art, local markets, and delicious gelato stops—this is the perfect way to experience the real Rome, away from the crowds!

I’ll pick you up at the Pigneto Metro station (Metro C) or we can meet directly at the market, just a short walk from my apartment.

Come join me and experience the authentic, local side of Rome. Let’s cook, eat, and enjoy a true Roman experience together!

Note: The farmers market is open Monday to Saturday until 1 PM. Not available on Sundays.
